Ayushmann Khurrana is an Indian actor, singer, and TV host in India. He was born on September 14, 1984, in Chandigarh, India. Ayushmann Khurrana’s parents are P. Khurrana and Poonam. He is the winner of the second season of the reality television show MTV Roadies. Ayushman Khurrana made his Bollywood debut with the film Vicky Donor in 2012. Since then, he has shown his acting skills to the audience and earned his place in the industry.
He has outstanding singing talent also. His song Paani Da Rang from his debuted film Vicky Donor earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer.

Ayushmann Khurrana was named Nishant Khurrana when he was born, but his parents change his first name to Ayushman at the age of 3. He studied at St. Jhon High School, Chandigarh, and went to DAV College Chandigarh. Ayushman studied English Literature and got his degree in Maas Communication from the School of Communication at Panjab University.
He did a sincere theatre when he was in college. In fact, he is the founding member of two DAV College active theatre groups Aaghaaz and Manchtantra, in Chandigarh. He won many prizes and awards when doing theatre.
Early Career and Hosting on TV Shows
After his graduation and post-graduation, Ayushmann worked as an RJ on Big FM, Delhi, and hosted the show Maan Na Maan, Main Tera Ayushmann.
Ayushmann has worked on MTV shows such as MTV Fully Faltoo Movies, Cheque De India, and Jadoo Ek Baar. Then he hosted the show Indias Got Talent on Colours TV and Music Ka Maha Muqqabla on Star Plus.
He also hosted the Extra Innings T20 for IPL Season 3 on Set Max and Just Dance on STAR Plus.
Ayushmann Khurrana made his film debut in 2012 with the romantic comedy Vicky Donor. He played the role of a sperm donor in the film. The film was successful at the box office, and because of his acting skills it earned Ayushmann the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
Next, he appeared in Rohan Sippy directed comedy film Nautanki Saala! in 2013. Then he signed a deal with Yash Raj Films and did the first film Bewakoofiyaan in 2014, co-starring with Sonam Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor. The film was unsuccessful at the box office. Then in 2015, he played the role of scientist Shivakar Bapuji Talpade in Hawaizaada.

After another poorly performed film Meeri Pyarii Bindu, his two films were successful at the box office in 2017, Bareilly Ki Barfi and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan.
In 2018 he starred in two of the highest-grossing films of the year. One is the thriller Andhadhun for which he has won the National Film Award, and the other is the comedy Bdhaai Ho. In the film Abdhadhun, Ayushmann played a blind pianist, and in Badhaai Ho, he played a young man whose middle-aged parents gets pregnant. Andhadhun is the highest-grossing film of his career.
His success continues to 2019 with his films Dream Girl and Bala. In Dream Girl, he appeared as a cross-gender actor who speaks in a female voice and gets male attraction while working on a call center, and in Bala, he played the role of a man who faces social pressure due to premature balding.
In 2020 he appeared in Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, in which he played the role of a gay man who had problems convincing the family of his partner for their relationship. This film performed poorly at the box office. Then he appeared in the comedy-drama Gulabo Sitabo co-starring Amitabh Bachchan. It released on Prime Video instead of theatrically release due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
